General Terms of Trade

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALE AND AUTHORITY TO GIVE AND OBTAIN CREDIT INFORMATION.

THESE ARE THE TERMS UNDER WHICH SIGNTIFIC SIGNS (THE "SUPPLIER) WILL SUPPLY GOODS TO THE CUSTOMER AND GRANT CREDIT TO THE CUSTOMER.

These General Terms of Trade apply broadly to all transactions between us. Documents issued by us in regards to a transaction will identify, if necessary, special terms and conditions.

1. Credit information. The customer grants Signtific Signs (Aust) Pty Ltd authority under the terms of section 18K(1) of the Privacy Act to obtain credit information from a credit reporting agency, and in accordance with section 18E(8)© of the Privacy Act, the customer authorizes Signtific Signs (Aust) Pty Ltd to give permitted information to a credit reporting agency. This information includes information relating to payments which have become overdue.

2. Contract formation. A contract is deemed to have been formed when Signtific Signs (Aust) Pty Ltd has received, in writing, signed acceptance of quotation, from the customer.

3. Agreed Price. The amount in writing agreed to by the parties.

4. Payment Non-account holding customers. The customer agrees to pay a deposit of 50% of total agreed price, on acceptance of quote from Signtific Signs (Aust) Pty Ltd. The balance of monies owed to be paid on delivery of goods.

5. Payment account holding customers. The customer agrees to pay for goods and services supplied by Signtific Signs (Aust) Pty Ltd within 30 days of delivery.

6. Transfer of Title and property. Title of ownership and property in the goods vests absolutely with Signtific Signs (Aust) Pty Ltd and does not pass to the customer UNTIL all outstanding monies have been paid in full.

7. Dispute resolution. If a customer is not satisfied with product/service provided by Signtific Signs (Aust) Pty Ltd a claim must be made in writing within 48 hours of the time of delivery of the goods/service.

8. Right to reclaim. If the customer does not pay for goods by the due date then the customer irrevocably authorizes Signtific Signs (Aust) Pty Ltd to enter the customer's premises and reclaim all unpaid goods belonging to Signtific Signs (Aust) Pty Ltd.

9. Enforcement Expenses and Interest. In the event of a breach of this agreement, the customer agrees to be responsible for payment of all enforcement, debt recovery expenses reasonably incurred by Signtific Signs (Aust) Pty Ltd. Signtific Signs (Aust) Pty Ltd or an appointed credit collection agency. Signtific Signs (Aust) is also entitled to retrospectively charge interest on goods from date of sale where the customer exceeds the credit terms.

10. Warranty/Guarantee: 12 months from date of delivery on workmanship and materials only.
